Angie and Cowboy
When Larry "Cowboy" Proemsey and Angie Holmes took on the restoration of the Historic John B. Busch Brewery Event Center, they went all in. Their goal was to create an event space in their area of Franklin County that would rival any spot in surrounding counties. "This spot has such beautiful history, and we fell in love with it right away," states Holmes. "Seeing it flourish with so many beautiful events, while staying true to the history of Washington, Missouri, is really a dream come true."
The event center not only offers a variety of halls, each with its own atmosphere and private spaces for you to rent, you get an entire package including the event space, tables, chairs, linens, an event coordinator, and bartenders.
Janelle Richardson
Janelle Richardson has worked in the wedding industry since the early 2000s, and been part of The Historic John B. Busch Event Center since 2020. Each day she finds herself in awe of its grandeur and beauty. " I am so lucky to have had the opportunity to be a part of this event center and to work with the most amazing clients."
Janelle will walk you through the entire process including a tour of the beautiful venue, meeting with you to go over details, helping you with a timeline, and finding the right staff to make your big day as perfect as it can be. "I’m here to answer all of your questions and make not only your day amazing, but to make the entire process fun and as stress free as possible," states Richardson, "Not just weddings, but all events. I strive to make sure you have a great time and have everything you need to make your event a success."
